About The Authors
Susan Ogden Benting
Susan Ogden Benting is a writer, artist, and lifelong observer of the human experience whose work is shaped by resilience, curiosity, and reflection. She grew up on a farm and ranch in New Mexico, USA, where early life was defined by hard work picking and chopping cotton, irrigating fields, riding horses, and working cattle. These formative years grounded her in patience, perseverance, and a deep respect for nature and people.
By the age of nineteen, Susan had already traveled around the world on her own, living among the residents of each country she visited. This journey followed a year as a Rotary Exchange student in Australia and marked the beginning of a lifelong engagement with diverse cultures, perspectives, and ways of thinking. These experiences continue to influence her reflective and philosophical approach to storytelling.
Susan earned a degree in Athletic Training from New Mexico State University and has worked professionally as a licensed massage therapist and Realtor. She is also a mother of two and a grandmother of four. Alongside her professional and family life, she has cultivated a wide creative practice as an artist, editor, lyricist, proofreader, poet, songwriter, short story writer, and screenwriter.
Her writing is defined not by conclusions, but by inquiry inviting readers to pause, reflect, and explore how meaning is shaped by perspective, contrast, and lived experience.
Takezo Art (Constantin Mircea Roșu)
Takezo Art is the pen name of Constantin Mircea Roșu, a Romanian writer, engineer, painter, and musician whose creative work moves fluidly between logic and imagination. Trained as an engineer, Constantin brings structure and clarity to his writing, while his artistic instincts draw him toward color, sound, emotion, and the quiet spaces between them.
He writes when inspired not by routine, but by moments: a memory, a voice, a fleeting thought, or an inner spark. His fiction often explores inner storms, distant worlds, and the invisible threads that connect people across time and space. Whether through words, paint, or music, his work reflects a deep interest in what it means to be human.
Under the name Takezo Art, he has built a creative identity that spans literature, painting, and music. He composes love songs, paints when writing falls silent, and turns to the guitar when words feel too heavy. For Constantin, art is not an escape from reality, but a return to its essence.
A Creative Collaboration Across Continents
Susan Ogden Benting and Takezo Art met online during the COVID-19 pandemic while playing bridge an unexpected beginning that grew into a lasting creative partnership. Though they have not yet met in person, they continue to collaborate across continents, united by friendship, imagination, and a shared passion for storytelling.
Together, they have co authored multiple books that blend Susan’s reflective, experience driven voice with Takezo’s poetic imagination and philosophical depth. Their collaboration is defined by trust, curiosity, and a belief that meaningful stories emerge when different perspectives meet.
Writing Philosophy
Across all their work, Susan Ogden Benting and Takezo Art share a common philosophy:
stories are not meant to dictate answers, but to open space for thought, empathy, and understanding. Their books explore contrast rather than conflict, reflection rather than debate, and meaning rather than certainty.
